We are editing from footage captured on AJA KiPros using pro res 422.

What codec would be best to use when creating lower thirds in apple motion, Animation, or pro res 4444?

    Thanks

    Larry

The 10b of Prores 444 makes him a better option than Animation (8b).

    Larry,

ProRes 4444 retains a better color space, but is compressed.
Animation, is less compressed but is 8 bit.

Why not put the project itself in FCP directly?

[Jeff Greenberg] “ProRes 4444 retains a better color space,…”
If the Prores 444 comes from any graphic application (AE or similar), will be RGB too
Not sure how to generate a Prores444/YUV.
    Do you know?
I hope FCX brings a fully functional Prores444.
