project settings for mixed media timeline.
Hello,
I was just wondering what project setting will yield the best results if using both progressive mini DV (16:9) and AVCHD footage (720p)on the timeline, if the final output is going to be SD (DVD)?
Does it make a difference whether the settings are for Mini DV or for AVCHD? (I have Vegas Pro 8 so don’t get the option for AVCHD so have to go for 720p HDV – by the way) I know that the pixel aspect ratio is different for both types.
Has anyone else mixed these two formats?? I’m in PAL land.

If your target is SD and you have SD footage mixed with HD then set your project for SD (i.e., PAL DV Widescreen).
