    project setting for m2t files???

    I’m working on my first HD project for a client.

    I was given footage in the form of .m2t files.

    How do I know which project setting (file-new) to use for creating the video with these clips?

    Thanks for any tips.

    File – Properties, click on the Match Media Settings icon in the top right (looks like a folder, browse to the folder containing your m2t footage, click any one of them and click Open.
    Your Project Properties will now match your source video.
    Click OK and start editing.

    Use the match setting Media button And choose one of your clip.
    It’s on the top right corner of the project properties window.

    How convenient. I certainly would not have thought of clicking on a “folder looking” icon for this one.
