  Project Save Error

  I have an issue with Premiere 2.0 here, any advice would be welcome…

  Problem is that I cannot save projects. I get:

  “Project Save Error:
  an unknown error occurred while saving the project. Select Save As from the File Menu to save the project to a new location.”

  I can indeed “save as” to a new name, but not just save. You can imagine the proliferation of files this is causing.

  Some details:

  – this is systematic, ie. happens on all projects, regardless whether they are on a local drive or on my SAN. It has been happening ever since this premiere was installed. SO far I’vejust worked around it by saving to a new name each time, but I’m hoping there is a fix here.

  (something that may or may not be related, every single time I create a new project, the “location” tab is stuck on this one particular folder on my SAN. I can’t seem to ever change that so I have to manually back out of that folder each time and go where I need to.)

  This is Win Xp 64, I am running MetaSAN 3.0, and not much else…
