Project Save Error
I use Premiere Pro to do my video editing at a minor league stadium. Recently, I bought a Lacie external drive so that my files weren’t clogging up the main network drives. It was installed, and for awhile, worked fine.
But now when I try to save a Premiere Project, it tells me:
“Project Save Error
Could not open the project file with write access. The file may be locked, or you may not have permission to write to this location.
Select “Save as” from the file menu to save the project to a new location.”
Ok, first, I found a post about this type of issue in the past, but there were no tips to resolve the issue. Second, my account has permission be using the drive. And third, when I “save as” I just give it a different name, and it lets me save it in the same place I was going to anyway.
Any thoughts?

Windows.
And it’s Adobe CS3.

Windows what? Vista/ XP and 7 all have different permissions structures.
