Personally, I save a backup of all of my project on external 1TB drives. If you feel you’ll never work on this project again then feel free to delete the project but I never do.

Project 2 Hrs 40 Mins. Architect 5 is telling me that the project is 125% of a 25GB blu ray disc. I’ve clicked on ‘fit to disc’ and tried reducing the quality to below 18 but it still says the project is too large.Would be grateful for any help please.

You should probably create a new thread for a new topic.
A 25GB Blu-ray disc can hold about 2 hrs 15 minutes of MPEG2 video at 25Mbps. You can get 3 hrs 40 minutes of AVCHD video at 15Mbps on the same disc. You might want to render as Sony AVC so that you don’t have to reduce your quality at all.

Thank you John. Why is Main Concept MPEG 2 recommended if AVC is just as good and can store more on a disc without losing quality? Would I be better off using AVC all the time? I have taken your advice and raised a new post to see what the general opinion is.

No particular reason. Vegas can smart-render MPEG2 but not AVCHD so if your camera shoots MPEG2 this would be an advantage of using MPEG2. Blu-ray supports both so you can use whichever you like. People will always argue which is better quality and others will argue that they are about the same. You be the judge.
