Project Import
I am utilizing Premiere Pro CS6. I am trying to put together multiple clips of video from SD cards that I am shooting with a Sony Handycam. I have not trouble importing video from a single SD card. The trouble begins when I eject the SD card and insert another SD card, Premiere Pro cannot find the video clips. I can visually see that the clips are imported, I have even saved the file prior to ejecting the SD card. I am utilizing a Mac. I am clearly doing something wrong, I could certainly use some help. Thanks so much.

When you are dragging files from your SD cards into Premiere, Premiere Pro is not copying them, it’s accessing them in-place. Once you eject the card, the files are on longer available and will be marked offline.
Please copy your SD cards to your hard drives (preferably double or triple backed up) using Finder or, more professionally, Shotput Pro or Adobe Prelude.
