Hello, I have a really nasty problem.. I was working on a motocross prom and everything went very well… Then I closed AFX and upon reopening the project, the very comp I was working on doesn’t display anything! Layers in timeline are intact and so are other comps. I tried restarting, disabling OpenGL and so on. Unfortunately, as I have reinstalled AFX today (prior working on this prom), I forgot to enable autosave. I have rendered a file that IS usable, but I would like to tweak it some more.

Too bad AEP files aren’t clear text like XML. Please advise. Thanks!

[Jiri Fiala] “Then I closed AFX and upon reopening the project, the very comp I was working on doesn’t display anything!”

Please describe further. Do you see black? Do you see the gray of the panel? Do other compositions display something? Can you create a new composition and work normally?

Thanks for your time Darby. The Comp window was black. Other comps worked fine and I was able to nest the weird comp into a new one and finish it this way (locking view to the new nested comp and working in the original one).

Ironically, all of a sudden it all started to work again (even the original f**ked up comp) after i was done :o)

    I am happy again.
