July 30, 2017 at 1:41 amLogging back into my account for the first time in forever to say that even in 2017, this ancient thread is still saving peoples’ butts! Was almost at the point of freaking out when a client sent me some old files to repurpose for a quick-turn edit and the project “didn’t exist.”

June 25, 2019 at 5:52 pmSo, that’s six years later and this problem still exists. I tried all solutions offered here and the only one that worked was David Wehle.
TWO spaces in the folder was the culprit.
Thank you and kudos for piercing this mystery.

September 4, 2020 at 9:17 amIm just create an account to tell that the same problem and the same strange solution persists on September of 2020. Adobe is incredible, this error is mitic and I dont see the moment of someone defeating Adobe with new software
