Project bins only showing clips used in timeline … (all other clips seem to be “missing”)
Suddenly went to search for a clip in a bin and NO clips were being shown unless they already appeared in the timeline (so it seems). I am praying that I have mistakenly punched a button or pressed something to make this happen and have not, indeed, lost all the clips to a very large project. My work is at a standstill until I figure this out. Any suggestions on why only clips in the timeline are referenced in my project bins? (ie one bin that had 50 clips in it is now only showing 3 !!!!). Have gone into autosave and checked from a few hours ago and see the SAME THING … praying it is an easy fix .. but please help me if you can!
(I did not employ “remove unused” BTW … it still seems to be available to me … so I don’t think that is the problem ..)

Hi Karen,
You might have inadvertently deleted the clips in your project, but deleting the clips in the project does not delete the actual media that they are referencing (linking to) on your drive. So you can always just re-import the media from your drive.
