progressive scan interlace problem
I have a canon xl 2 I have footage shot in 24p, in adobe premier pro cs5 I set my sequence settings progressive scan no fields, in the preview window where you can cut out clips it seems progressive but in the the main program window it looks interlaced. and when I export out its interlaced WTF lol I can’t find anything online. I’m capturing from dv tapes so you know. I need help please

Hey Chris,
I thunk you’ll find that the 24p is actually recorded in a 29.97 interlaced pulldown.

Thanks for the response, what we have been doing as of recently was everything was interlaced but the footage was in 24p, meaning everything in premiere was interlaced lower field. Then for dvd we dynamic link it to encore and for web flv. But I started learning about progressive scan and am trying to apply it .
