  Program window will not update in real time

  I am having some issues with the program window not updating in real time when I play from the timeline or when adjusting parameters for a clip in the effects control window.

  The behavior is like this: roll over parameter and scroll left or right to adjust the value, while i am doing this there will be no change in the program window, I then release the value and the window will eventually update after about three seconds.

  As you can imagine, it is next to impossible to accurately adjust anything quickly. This has been an issue with all 1920×1080 29.97 DSLR footage.

  My playback resolution is at 1/2

  MPB 2.2 GHz core i7
  Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
  Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
  Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2
  CS 5.5 PPro 5.5.2
