  • Program to join H264 files?

    Hi!

Does anyone know of an inexpensive program that will join multiple 720p 1280×720 h264 59.94 FPS files into one file without re-rendering? There are a bunch of general MPEG joining programs, but some will not do h264 and some that will will not do it correctly at that resolution and frame rate.

    Thank you!
    Michael

Mainconcept will be able to do that for you in a upcoming update of the Codec suite.

You could try the trial version of Sony Vegas Studio Platinum 11, I have found it faster on GPU Accelerated h.264mov and AVCHD from a Canon 5D Mark II than Premiere Elements , it appears to render in the background except on Image Stabilization but, it is very fast.It will also join HDV mpeg-2 anamorphic 1440 x 1080 on the timeline. If you Export to Tape and or Blu-Ray Disc it will render .
