Production shops hosting web video for clients?
My company has started offering a new premium video hosting service- not only producing their videos and hosting them on our web server, but offering a range of tracking and metrics they never had access to before. Thanks to a custom-built player w/ database connectivity, we can track all load, playback, and completion activity. Moreover, they give us their list of a few hundred “invitees” and we can track specifically who loaded and/or watched the video. So far our clients have been really excited about this, but I’m curious about how many other shops are offering the same thing. I’ve not seen any mention of it on the web yet.
