You should not have any issues installing and using the latest version!
But you failed to be specific as to what the problem is…

Sorry guys, I transferred over all the data files and when I tried to fire up the “PALauncher” I got the message “Vegas Pro Production Assistant installation may be corrupt. Cannot find the Registry entry. Please re-install.”

That is as far as I can get. Thanks for the help guys.

Also, I am getting “Production Assistant requires Vegas Pro. A compatible Vegas Pro installation could not be found. The installer will now close. Your system has not been modified.

That’s because on Windows (unlike a Mac) you can’t just copy files over and expect programs to work. You must re-install them to re-establish their registry entries. The error is telling you that it can’t find the registry entries that should have been established during the installation process and therefore is recommending that you re-install.

Production Assistant 1.0 is compatible with Vegas Pro 8.0, Vegas Pro 8.1, and Vegas Pro 9.0. Do you have any of those installed on your system? If not, that’s why the installer can’t find a compatible Vegas Pro installation.

If you want to use Production Assistant with versions of Vegas Pro greater than 9.0 you will need to upgrade to Vegas Pro Production Assistant 2.0 which supports Vegas Pro 10.0 thru 13.0.
