    Hi All,

After seeing a demo of what ProCoder3 can do compared to Adobe Media Encoder, I’m fairly sold on the product, but I wanted to get some advice from the Cow pros.

I’d be wanting to still use Premiere and Encore for my DVD development, but I’d skip the Dynamic Link and all the Adobe Encoding. Basicly using ProCoder3 as a stand-alone encoder.

    1. Is this a good idea?
    2. Are there better alternatives?
    3. Are there any known problems running my current setup (see signature) with ProCoder?

Thanks for any help or ideas,
    Clint

    Hello!

I am not so sure that you can successfully integrate (or replace) Procoder 3 in premiere pro.

Well, there are a few alternatives to ProCoder 3, just not with integration.

I use TMPEG encoder, with better and faster results and user-friendly interface.
Another personal choice, especially for flv or h264 is sorenson squeeze.

If you can get the guys from grass valley support to install and make the integration error free, then best of luck and let us how procoder behaves!

    Merry Christmas,
