problems with Video FX plugins interface

I’m using Sony Vegas Pro 8 on my two computers. On my laptop I’m running XP Home Edition with 2 Giga of RAM and on my big computer (DAW) I’m running XP Pro with 4 Giga of Ram (my DAW is not connected to the internet).
On my laptop I’m having no problems with the Video FX plugins but in my other computer I’m experiencing strange beaver of the plug-in interface, when I open a Video FX plug, part of the plug-in interface is missing, for example: If I’m using the Color Corrector with the three wheels only two of them are visible in the interface and also other parameters of the plug-in are missing.
I was not able to locate any problem and wasn’t able to solve that problem.
I’m asking for some help solving that problem.

Have you tried already just using the cursor to drag/enlarge
the videofx interface window to see if everything comes

Thank you for the responses. Part of the plug-in interface is missing there’s just empty space where the controls should and it’s not a problem of resizing.The problem didn’t developed it occurred as soon as I installed my copy of Sony Vegas pro 8 on my DAW .I reinstall the application and tried different thinks but non of them seems to work, part of the video FX plug-ins interface is gust missing. -
also… have you changed the DPI of your Windows Desktop? Right-click the desktop and choose Properties. Then go to the Settings tab and press the Advanced button. You should now be on the General tab of the advanced properties. Under Display there is a DPI Setting which should be set to 96 DPI. What does your say? If it’s anything but 96 DPI this could be the problem. Set it to 96 DPI and reboot.

It’s 96 DPI.
Is there any parameter in the registry or in the device manager that might influence that kind of behaviour. I’m going in that direction because few changes have been made to my DAW in order to increase audio work flow performances. I did same experiments with my two computers and reinstalled the same copy I’m using on my DAW,on my laptop just to find out (once more) that on my laptop I have no problems with the video FX plug-ins interface.
I would be much grateful for any help in solving that problem -
You need to figure out what is different about your DAW from your laptop. Do you have a 3rd party window manager installed? What other 3rd part system software? Can you post a screen shot of the problem? It’s kind of hard to diagnose without seeing it. Something is different about your DAW from your laptop. The trick is to figure out what it is.

What I have on my DAW is Cubase/Nuendo with VST plug-ins, as I mentioned I have disabled few parameters in the task manager and also applied small changes in the registry all are concerning audio functions and the fact that my DAW is not connected to the internet. I have already tried to identify the differences between the two computers and tried to bring the device manager back to its default configuration.
I have also on my DAW the adobe programs such Premier CS3 but I don’t use them, my wife worked mainly with Pinnacle Studio Ultimate V.12.
