Problems with open caption in Premiere
I’m having an issue with open captions in Adobe Premiere. I created captions and painstakingly went through each one to make sure they cut on the correct frame, and that there were no gaps in between sentences.
I exported the video and closed Premiere. When I went to reopen it, it did not save the timeline position where I dragged each caption, and on some captions it put spaces in between sentences.
I tried fixing, saving, and reopening the project again and I keep having the same problem.
The version of Premiere I currently have is v 12.00 (build 224).
My computer is MAC High Sierra. Version 0.13.2 (17C88)

Why do you make your life so miserable where there are way handier tools to do this, and give you all options to go to other subtitle formats as well?
(Note, open captions are subtitles, closed captions are ancient technique for the deaf and hard hearing, and is something completely different.)Bouke

Adobe just did a 12.0.1 update, it fixed the issue with 708 closed captions. Don’t know if this would help with your issue.
