problems with HDLink and my monitor display
Is anyone else having/had problems with HDLink and their monitor?
For the last five months, we we’ve been using the Decklink HD Extreme (ver. 6.1 maybe? can’t remember) with an HDLink (ver. 2.0) to send DVI to a 23″ Apple Cinema Display.
This has worked great, with few issues. On Saturday, I upgraded the Decklink software and firmware to 6.6.1 and the HDLink to 2.4.
Now I’m getting an intermittent horizontal line with a small ripple across the screen–only on the HDLink-fed monitor–not in the Canvas. If I let footage play, it gradually moves down, but always stays on the top half of the image. It can be especially bad on cuts. (I would call this “tearing,” but I’m not sure that’s the proper use of the term.)
Editing with 720/24pn footage.
Sequence settings:
HD (960×720) Frame Size
HD (960×720) Pixel Aspect Ratio
23.98 Editing Timebase
DVCPRO HD 720p60 Compressor Quicktime Settings.Thoughts?
Is anyone else using this configuration without issues?
Thanks,
