    Hey Cow Community!

I’m working on a movie and there’s lots of HISS due to a splitter we used to use 2 boom mics. The DENOISE feature works great at eliminating the hiss in the Project when editing, but when I export the file, the beginning of each clip that has the effect on it starts off nearly muted, then the volume comes in as it should.

What is causing this? Would I be better suited to export the whole scene as a WAV file and denoise it from there?

Is there a better way to eliminate the HISS that is plaguing my movie?

    Thanks in advance!

I would use Audition. There are plenty of stock filters, compressors, and denoise options to do a decent treatment on the track.

You can export out a WAV file or just send the timeline to Audition.
