    Problems with connecting objects

    I am fairly new to C4D but I understand a large chunk of it.

    So I have an object that I imported into my scene, and my goal was to edit the object by adding shapes like cylinders and spheres that are glowing and stuff.
    But the object has an animation with it and I’m not sure how to make the shapes (glowing cylinders and spheres) stick to the object while it’s moving.

    I play through the timeline and see the object move around with this cool animation but my shapes aren’t sticking to it.
    Please help!!! ☺

    Make the other objects children of the main object.
