    i’m applying Knoll Lighting effect (lens flare) to black solid. The lens takes its position from a null of a tracked object. If i apply the Knoll effect to the footage layer all is fine but when i apply the effect to black solid — it does some wird stuff — it looks like the flare is attached to something of screen… ANyone knows what’s going on?

    The effect expects the light source coordinates to be relative to its own layer’s upper-left corner.

    This expression should do the translation for you:

    L = thisComp.layer(“Null 1”);
    fromWorld(L.toWorld(L.anchorPoint))
