    We are in the beginning of a production of a new feature.
    The assisting editor are facing some really annoying problems.

    Specifications:
    Redfootage transcodet via Redcine-x to DNXHD36
    Avid 5.5
    External audio with up to 8 audio tracks.
    Auto sync with 2 of the audio tracks (A1 – boom and A2 mix of microports)

    When we use the auto sync, it is not possible to match frame back to the audio – if the editor for example wants to use a specific micro port. When we match frame back from the sequence to the viewer and then wants to match frame back to the original audio – we can only see the video track – which has no audio.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Once .sync clip is loaded in the source, turn of V track on source and do a match frame again.
