  • Problems when moving camera out of null object.

    Dear community, small question…

In C4D I imported a camera track from external tracker, since it was so tiny, I added the camera to a null and scaled/rotated the whole thing to fit the scene. Now I would love to extract the camera of the null to bake it but it becomes tiny again and I lose all the adjustments.

    Any advice ?

    Thank you,

    A.

I would try scaling the camera track directly with the Animation Tool instead of the null scaling thing

Thank you for the response, I tried that already but rotation got completely botched, I found the solution in the meantime :

    1) Create a new camera and put an Expresso Tag on it.
    2) Inside expresso link the global matrix of the previous camera to the new one.
    3) In the timeline viewer just bake the new camera.
    4) Enjoy and export to FBX if needed.

Leaving this here in case someone else needs it.
