Problems using Select Tracks Forward tool
I’m in a half-hour program, trying to select the last half with the “select all tracks forward tool”. For some reason when I move the selected clips it causes tracks before the selection to disappear. When I click on the selected clips to move them, I can see the shaded selection area has expanded to include tracks before my selection.
I tried trashing my preferences, thinking it might be a bugaboo, to no avail.
Any ideas? -

My first thought when FCP really starts to act weird is to make a new sequence and cut/paste your entire show into it. It’s solved more than one problem for us before.

Did you ever figure this problem out? I’m having the exact same issues, and I tried trashing prefs, making a new seq etc. Haven’t found the solution…
