problems syncing multicam audio
Hi, this is my first time posting to this forum & I apologise in advance for the long-winded explanation of the problem, can’t explain it any other way and have been experimenting for ages with possible solutions….
I’ve recorded in 2 camera angles with 3 different sound inputs and I am having a lot of trouble getting them to sync. I have recorded in a shop, with 1 camera picking up 2 audio tracks of ambient sound + customer voices, then in the other camera just recording the shop keepers voice on a radio mic.
What I want to do now is blend all 3 sounds, so I have the general shop sound, plus more defined voices from both customer & shopkeeper.
I used the multiclip technique to sync them initially, which is my first time using this technique & have found that you can only seem to choose to listen to/cut between 1 audio input or the other (not listen to or blend all three).
What I’m now doing is pulling the multiclip track with 2 audio’s (ambient & customer voice) onto the timeline, then bring the single audio of the radio mic down to try to sync them manually. In theory this should work, & I have synced it to the best of my ability but it seems like it’s out by a fraction of a frame (if I move it one frame + or – it’s totally out) so now I’m getting a wierd reverb/echo from the combination of the 3 tracks. It’s really frustrating!Has anyone else had a similar problem or can suggest a solution? Thank you in advance.
