    Hi!

I have various issue with Flash CS5 and AE CS5 in MAC OS X 10.8. 2

We have an animation in flash that we want to take to AE: We have tried these options:
    1. Exporting PNG sequence. It exports the total of frames (153) but not correctly. It misses some or recreates others.
    2. Exporting a QT movie. Sometimes works and sometimes changes the total duration of the clip, form 5 seconds to 8….
    3. So we though of exporting a SWF file to take it to AE. This SWF is viewed correctly in Chrome and firefox. Though, when we import to AE, it only reads the first 2 frames and ignores the rest of the 153 frames.
It does read correctly the HD reslution, and frame rate, but doesnt read the whole file.
I have read here to deselect the XMP files option in AE. Done it and still doesn’t work.

¿Any solutions to the SWF issue? and how to make flash export correctly all the PNG FRAMES.

    Thanks in advance.
    Nadia.

    From After Effects Help:

“Note: SWF files are imported with an alpha channel. Audio is not retained. Interactive content and scripted animation are not retained. Animation defined by keyframes in the main, top-level movie is retained.”
