An error comes up saying file cannot be open.
Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated

I have no experience of this BR workflow, but have you setup DVDA to BR?

    I’m just guessing here.

    Grazie

[johnpaul zerafa] “So I rendered it for bluray with menus”

What type and what template did you use? (BTW, you don’t “render” MPEG or M2TS, these are encoded formats notwithstanding that Sony put the encoding formats in the “Render As” menus).

When you do a “Render As” you need to select a type (MPEG) and a template (one of the DVD Architect templates). You then do another “Render As” and select “AC3” at the type. You need to bring the MPEG file into DVDA, and the AC3 file should move automatically.

    hey stephen
i tried doing as you told me and im gonna explain to you in my own words what i did

so i clicked (project) and clicked (render as) then the window popped up so i found MainConcept MPEG-2 and i went with DVD Architect NTSC Video stream, and again i did the same for the audio but only under ac-3. yes now i can open them on DVDA thanks to you

my only question is this, iv noticed that in DVDA i click on the same project that iv rendered from sony vegas its says
    VIDEO: 720X480X32

im only asking coz my camera records in 1080-60i and in vegas its also was 1080-60i

did i just lose video quality? in dvd architect
    if yes
how can i use the same video quality in dvd architect the way it was recorded originally

    thanks again stephen

    DVD *is* 720×480.

If you want a 1080 disk, you nave to make a blu-ray.

    hi stephen
so i finally did render the video and the audio to dvda
when i did the menus and everything i clicked MAKE BLURAY DISK

so it started rendering to disk and then this popped up saying…

An error occured while preparing compilation
    File name: N/A
Status: StatusCodeTable.xml Err Status Code :[MUX_SN_E_IO]

any idea why this could be?
    thanks
