I’ve been researching online to solve this issue but haven’t found the solution. I just purchased a new MacPro 8-Core 2.4Ghz and I also got the upgrade to final cut Studio. So I have to install Final Cut Studio 1 in order to get to the upgrade but as soon as I try to start the installation process on disc 1, I’m getting this message: “Your computer doesn’t have the hardware required to run this software. See the Read Me for details.
I’m sure many of you are familiar with this issue, help please.

No, not only do you not need to install FCS1 to install the upgrade, you could never succeed under any circumstance, as it’s Power PC only software. Just install the FCS3 upgrade and it will ask for your old serial number.
