problems importing files
hi guys,
I just restarted my PC and I can’t import any files unless I drag them into the project window. I’ve tried File-Import, double clicking, right clicking etc etc and everytime nothing happens. No error. No dialogue box. Just nothing. This is happening with new projects and existing ones.I really need this to work, because I need to import photoshop files as compositions and dragging them to the project window doesn’t give you that option. I’m running 5.5 Pro on XP.
Any tips before I re-install the software?

Try deleting the preferences.
This file is usually located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\{USER NAME}\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\Prefs
(move or delete all the files in the dir.)JD
