  • Problems exporting single frame with Premiere Pro 2

Posted by Owen Packard on January 14, 2007 at 7:01 pm

    hi there,

i am a bit of a newbie with Premiere Pro 2, so apologies if this is a ridiculous question – but, i am having problems when i export a single frame from my project and then reopen it to use.

the captured frame appears to be squashed into a 4:3 format?!?

    (i am working in a 16:9 project).

i set the ‘conform to project’ setting in general preferences.

am i doing something very silly?

    any help gratefully received!

Is it 16:9 or 4:3 footage that you are trying to get the frame from?

The frame will be 720X480 (in the USA) at either a 0.9PAR (4:3) or 1.2PAR (16:9).

Select the right one when exporting.
