  Problems capturing PAL footage

  Hi everyone,

  I’m trying to capture PAL footage I was sent on a mini-DV tape via a Sony HVR-M25U on FCP 5.1.4. I normally use NTSC as I live in the US. Anyways, I got it to work briefly yesterday with the picture showing up when I hit play on the deck, but now no picture is showing up yet I’m able to hear the audio. I tried capturing via PAL 48khz and PAL anamorphic but it won’t work. I tried ‘capture now’ and ‘logging and capturing’ with the same result. The deck seems to be working fine as the picture comes up on the LCD display. Anyone have any ideas? I’d really appreciate it.
