Hey all, burning to DVD use to work fine just a couple of weeks ago. Normally I would go to File>Export>DVD, set my settings(30 min project, CBR, 7.0 Bitrate), and the Recording Progress window would appear. First it would Transcode which takes the longest, then it would Burn the disc. The Overall Progress bar would take a long time to complete.

But recently, after going thru my normal routine, and as soon as I clicked Record button, the Burning Disc bar appeared at the top of the Recording Progress window, and it rushed through the process in seconds. But the Overall bar moved really slow. And in the past, when I burned a DVD that did not record properly, it would still play, but the image would be distorted. But now the DVD players say it’s a Bad Disc.

I tried everything from changing the bitrate, changing it from CBR to VBR, and using a different DVD brand. But I’m not sure what the problem is. I hope I explained it fairly well here. Thanks
