    Hi

I have had a number of problems sending clips to compressor, where compressor reports that FCP terminates unexpectedly. After investigating, it was only clips that had treatment with Soundtrack pro that would fail. If I start Soundtrack pro (i.e. just have it running in the background), then send the clip to compressor, it works. Sounds like a bug to me, but maybe there is a better way to achieve what I am trying to do.

I simply want to take some footage (DV) and sweeten both the video and audio in FCP, then have it exported so it can be edited in iMovie (I am not editing the footage, just preparing it for someone else), and because iMovie is a bit touchy when it comes to anamorphic footage, I have had to setup a preset in compressor to do the job.

Once you sweeten your video and audio export a QT movie and use that movie in compressor for your conversion.
