Problem With Shatter Effect & 3D Text
I am trying to create some 3D text and I am having a problem with the way it is rendering. Take a look at the sides of my text… Why is there transparency? What setting will remove this? I feel like I have messed with every setting.
When I watch tutorials on youtube the people do not have this problem.

Shater has a Textures property – set it to use a color. You may also want to set Lighting to use the first comp light.
