Problem with making script for lyrics video
Hello guys! I’m just a newbie with expression in AE and I’m doing a lyrics video. My idea is adding a text box with full lyrics and timing the lyrics synchronizely with the audio by using the position of the textbox moving along the Y axis. More detail:
– Value of Y position for the first sentence = 540
– Value of Y position for the 2nd sentence = 540 + 150 (duration)
…3rd sentence = 540 + 150 + 150
…Is there anyway to make it automatically do the animation each time I set a keyframe at the exactly time I want to?

Something like this probably:
n = 0;
if (numKeys > 0){
n = nearestKey(time).index;
if (time < key(n).time) n--;
}
540 + n*150
