Problem with importing mov files
Posted by Kawin Tisase on February 11, 2014 at 4:37 pmWhen I’m importing mov files to my proj. My premiere crash all the times. Anyone has an idea how to fix this please.(I already installed quicktime to import this mov files)

February 12, 2014 at 9:46 amI use AVHCD 1080p square pixel for my codec and can I ask you something? I’m new to premiere so, I don’t know about lots of thing what is Media browser I tried to googled it but i can’t find the description.

February 13, 2014 at 9:56 amThe guide below should probably help you with the purpose of the media browser, and will particularly help with your issue of using AVCHD in CS4.
I vaguely remember AVCHD being a little funny with some of the older versions of Premiere. Even now, my workflow when using AVCHD is to transcode the files to Cineform (I install the GoPro/Cineform software so that the codecs are installed, then do the actual trascoding in Adobe Media Encoder).
