I have a JPEG file that imports to Premiere CS4 as black. There is no image, nothing. Just a black box. I can edit it in Photoshop and it looks good. I can save it in other formats, but no matter what format it is in, in Premiere it imports as black. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Try resizing the file in PS to something like 1200×900.

In Photoshop, make sure the image uses RGB color and not CMYK, which is for print. You need RGB for video.

Yes that was the problem. It was in CMYK and not RGB. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Thanks,
