When you load the AVI, does pIllusion know that it has 902 frames (does “902” show in the layer window)? If so, and you’ve already made sure that the project end frame (set in the playback toolbar) is 902 at least, then I suggest checking the OpenGL page of the pIllusion prefs, and checking the “don’t use texture RAM for bg images” option and see if that helps.

Thanks Alan for the help so far.
Yes pIllusion does show “902” frames in the layer window. I did what you suggested in the OpenGL page of the pIllusion prefs, check the “don’t use texture RAM for bg images” option But this did not fix it can you suggest anything else ?

Convert the AVI to an image sequence?
