I had a job where I wa recording images from an Ultra Sound machine run through a scan converter into my camera. I’ve done this before and the images were just fine. However I have a major problem with the most recent images. They changed from a crisp color image to a really crappy black & white image that shakes and bounces around. The real problem is that I need to sync these US images up to another camera showing the operator’s procedures, and it seems like there is a considerable amount of “drift” in that US image.

It looks like I somehow might have accidentally hit a switch that changed from NTSC out (correct) to PAL out. Would that change it from color to a jumpy black and white image? If so, is there anything I can do in vegas to fix this? There is also a switch to select RGB out or Video/S-out (correct) that might possibly have been switched to RGB out. Am I just totaly screwed or is there some sort of fix in Vegas??
