problem with audio when capturing from dv
I have a problem when capturing clips from a panasonic dv cam corder via usb. The video captures ok but no audio. if i use an old sony cam corder its ok and if i capture from the new panasonics to windows movi maker its also ok.

USB is (almost) always a problem when capturing full frame video. For this reason, firewire is recommended. A basic firewire card and cable are very inexpensive these days and will solve most, if not all, of your problems.
