problem with audio it cuts out on set dvd players
when taking the project out to DVD, either through the straight to DVD option or going through the Adobe Media Encoder, the audio cuts out at a certain point of the project, but ony on set-top DVD players. It plays fine on computer players, and it does not completely cut out, but rather the audio for certain clips (the main audio for what’s going on) will not play, while the underlying music and some other clips that were filmed and loaded the same way work fine. The only difference seems to be that on one the audio seems oriented to the right channel, and on the others, it seems oriented to the left channel. How can you change the audio from one side to the other (fill left and right don’t seem to help), or is there some other explanation for this problem. I’ve used the encoding settings for other projects without issue, and it does not help to take it out to encore or another program. Again it works in computer drives… any help will be very apprecieted, this is completely stopping our workflow.
in case it matters: we are working in 24p and using premiere pro 1.5 and whatever the most recent encore is. Have tried both mpeg and mpeg-dvd codecs, no change. Thanks again!
