Does anyone else have a problem with audio transitions? I have two different issues:

    1. Any time I try to use a crossfade/dissolve on audio to fade it out the volume jumps up louder at the beginning of the transition and then fades out.

    2. When I try to crossfade between two audio edits I get a slight “pop”. I was trying to shorten a three minute cut of music into a six second piece of music that I was going to use multiple times as a bumper. I was using a couple of seconds from the beginning of the cut and 4 four seconds from the end of the cut. I tried a bunch of different ways in Premiere but I could never get the transition to be smooth. I ended up making the edit in FCP7 and exporting the music file.

I did not figure this out, but I haven’t noticed it in awhile.
