Hi there community of Creative COW! I have a problem and I thought it best posed to you, the the collective mind that you are =]

In short I started composing an AMV with a ratio of 720 16:9 which looks great in Premiere’s project window during playback, but when uploaded to youtube it seems to have automatically changed the ratio to 1:1 and compressed the video?

I’m not entirely sure at what point things have gone wrong? =O

Any content meant for a flash player is best left encoded with a square pixel ratio.

Youtube does re-encode their material. I’ve heard weird things that it doesn’t compress the stream drastically if you spit it out at under 6mbps, but they aren’t very forthcoming about settings for pristine quality for their site.
