Can everyone help me…I’ve upgraded to media composer 5 on windows 7 64 bit and have problem using the SD Analog mojo.

when i get inside the avid there’s a black on the reorder window and it says: “a device on the 1394 bus causing problems. please remove it or disable “out put to dv device”. FTstatus code FT_Linklnitializationfailed – Flamethro werlinkmanager: openlink – failed to create link object”.

by the way, i’m using double boot on my computer and the second boot with the xp boot – i can use properlly the after effects with the mojo.

    what is the solution?

Do you have other devices connected to the system other than the Mojo?

Try a different FW cable and port, Try without the deck.

well’ up to now i disconected the dsr 11 deck and it didn’t help. will try another cable tomorrow.

is the firewire card type get to do with the problem? someone told me that may be i should buy one which works with 64 bit?

Check that your FW card drivers are compatible with your new OS. Highly likely it isn’t and that is causing the problems.

Make sure your MOJO is not connected to the same firewire channel as the capture machine.

Also, I’ve had the flamethrower thing. It turned out my sync generator was getting flaky. If you’re using external sync, try disconnecting.

well i havn’t changed the firewire card but suddnly i succeeed to get the mojo sd to be seen in the monitor at last.

….but when i tried to capture by composite it stopped after few minutes or seconds and this message appered: “capture aborted due to lack of progress. the media captured to this point may be unuseable and/or incomplete”

    what should i do?
