Has anybody succeeded to sync video files using media timecode? This procedure always ends up with dozens of tracks on timeline – every clip is on a different track. Its ridiculous. The number of tracks should equal the number of cameras.

When you edit a serious job like a tv show for broadcast, you need to sync media using timecodes from camcorders. Why Adobe Premiere PRO doesn’t recognize cameras? It’s so obvious and simple feature.

The clips are in sync, they are just on different tracks. Like Paul said in your other thread about this, you can manually drag the clips down so that all clips from each camera are on the same track (https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/954981). It’s annoying, but doable. Also, submit a feature request to Adobe if you haven’t already done so.

Have you tried it in PPro CC 2014? Maybe they fixed it in that one.
