Problem placing video transition
I am using Final Cut HD Express 3.5.1 and have place several mpg video clips in the time line. I want to do a transition between the clips instead of a cold cut into the next video. When I drag a transition to the time line, there is a small x and it will not allow the transition.
What is weird is if I split a video file and place a transition where I spit the file (same file, not 2 different ones) it will allow me to do the transition, but not 2 different video files.
Anyone experienced this and if so any suggestions as to what i need to do in order to place a transition in the time line?

You don’t have any heads or tails. Trim the end of one and the beginning of the other then replace the transition.
