  problem opening fcp7 project in snow leopard after it was opened in yosemite

  Hi Everyone. Hoping I can get some FCP wisdom from someone about this dilemma.

  I have a project that was created in Snow Leopard. I took that project file and corresponding video files etc to the editor’s system on a 6TB Lacie Drive. She worked on the project in her system, which has been upgraded to Yosemite, but we kept it on the drive.

  I had each sequence as its own project. She opened each one to copy the sequence and combine them into one project. She worked on the first three and they open ok. Some of the other 6 are having connection problems. Files are there but not accessible through FCP. The same with those original project/sequence files on the drive.

  I have back ups of my original files and luckily the work we did together is safe, but I am reluctant to go back to her system in case this is a problem with incompatibility of our operating systems?
