  • problem on “key” browsing of menu button

    Hi,

I am a new user of Encore, i had made a simple DVD with 2 menu bar.
I made it with default menu, slightly adjust the layout and apply link. As i test it with preview, the basic browsing with mouse was no problem, but when i using “arrow” key to browse, it shows the chaos of order. For example i have 5 button in column(A to E), as i click “down arrow” from button A, it jumps to button D. i found what’s the problem by clicking the “show button routing”.

My question is, can i set this button routing ? how and where to set it?

    many thanks,
    Mavis

If you go to Help and search for button routing you will come up with a more detailed answer, but all you have to do is 1.Make sure the menu is in the monitor and click on it 2. find the properties panel and down toward the bottom, uncheck automatically route buttons and then 3. Run your cursor along the bottom of the menu monitor over each of the buttons until the Tool tip says Button routing and click it. 4. All the buttons have black crosses on them, so drag a line to the button you want from each branch of the cross on another button.
