I have some text going along the edge of a dvd template. I was able to get the text positioned where I want it, but now I’m having a problem. I went to go back to move the text, but I’m no longer able to do it. In order to select the text, I have to drag the cursor about four inches away from it before it even begins to be selected. After it’s selected, I can’t do anything with it. I can’t even place the cursor anywhere but before the first letter of the text. What is causing this problem?

    Thanks

Not sure, but if you have weird settings like a very high baseline on every character or a lot of left-margin before your paragraph, it get’s very non-intuitive to select characters.

Try double-clicking the T-symbol for that layer in the layer-palette, that should select the entire contents of the layer, use your arrow-keys from ther on out.

Also make sure you’ve still got the same font installed, but you’ll probably have had a warning if that were the case.
